Sights of Alaska

There are many people out there that believe that Alaska is just an extreme icy, snowy wasteland where everyone lives in igloos, but the reality is that it all depends on where you go and what exactly you look at.

This picture was taken in the Brooks Range during the Northern Lights, taken by the photographer Rolf Hicker. Yeah, I know. It's an igloo.

This is an Alaska summer sunset, photographed by Harley D. Nygren.

Here's a picture of Downtown Anchorage through a porthole of an airplane.

This was taken on a Cruise in Prince William sound of a glacier calving.

This is an image of humpback whale breaching.

There's also some ugly sights in Alaska, there are people who actually live in little cabins like this. Also they are about 1,000 square feet or less, they usually don't have a bathroom, one room and sometimes it doesn't even have a separate room. Now that is a sad sight.

If you want to know more about sights of Alaska please tell me.
